Biography:
Born April 19, 1956, Long Island, New York.
Graduated Smithtown Central High School, St. James, NY June 1974.
Attended State University of New York at Stony Brook 1974-1978.
Attended Dowling College, Oakdale, NY 1979-1980, BA Social Sciences 1980.
Resident of Tampa since 1982.
Teacher in Pasco County Schools in the field of Social Studies since 1983.
Member of the United Teachers of Pasco, affiliated with the Florida Education Association, the American Federation of Teachers, and the AFL-CIO.
Member of the Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Association.
Political Experience:
Volunteer for various Republican candidates in New York and Florida since High School
Organized the Stony Brook campus chapter of Youth for Jim Buckley (US Senator from New York) 1976.
Co-organizer of the Stony Brook chapter of Youth for Ford-Dole 1976.
Member of the campaign staff of the Jay Radway for Congress Committee (First Congressional District, NY) 1978.
Member of the Hillsborough County Republican Executive Committee 1983-1986, 2001-present.
Participant in several Florida Education Association delegations to lobby in Tallahassee since 1990.
Member of the Republican Liberty Caucus.
